How stores can benefit from using jewelry display stands will be determined by their willingness to apply the appropriate methods when advertising their business. Nowadays, there are no limits to the various way in which a store can bring attention to selling its products, and using display stands are one of the many tools proven to be effective.

First impressions are everything to a potential customer, so stores must make sure they give it their best efforts and bring positive results in their sales. Every business aims for the same goal when working diligently on marketing strategies. Most are fully aware that placing items at eye level for the customer to take notice is a very effective way to boost sales. Showcasing jewelry by arranging items in an attractive display will increase chances for sales.

Displays that are commonly arranged under glass cases are a popular method used to draw attention of those casually walking by. Many displays of this sort will have items individually arranged on a silky or velvety backdrop. Other items in the case may be placed on small stands of different shapes and sizes, grouping them based on factors such as price and quality.

Lighting within a display case is important, as this may be the best way for customers to see the true beauty of the items being sold. Depending on the jewelry being displayed, special lights can also further enhance the sparkling of gemstones, shimmering glare of gold or the fine details of engraved sterling silver pieces.

Displays that are familiar to most are those that hold jewelry on individual hard-plastic cards, which hang from stands or racks. Some spin around to reveal many other styles or types of jewelry and others remain stationary and one sided. The number of jewelry cards that are displayed in this fashion, will depend upon the size rack and the number of pieces it is designed to hold best. Some only hold a few pieces of jewelry, while others will hold many.

Display stands, made from many materials, can be purchased or even customized to match the needs of a particular shop. It is always a good idea to stay with the theme or overall look of a store when having stands customized. They should easily blend and look as if they were part of the existing decor all along. Less expensive stands are constructed of heavy grade cardboard, press board and acrylic. For more expensive ones, materials such as wrought iron, ceramic, wood and vintage designed metals are always an option.

For more lavish stores, an expensive look is sought after when trying to appeal to customers who are wealthy. Others, who do not cater to that spectrum of the industry can still have tastefully decorated and very inviting storefronts in which people will be drawn to do their shopping. Both are completely capable of running very profitable businesses.

One added benefit to many jewelry display stands, are the intentional brackets or slots placed at the top of the unit. These are very instrumental for shops to better advertise, announce sales prices or discounts and give descriptions of their products. So many aspects of jewelry stands have changed with their design and purpose, causing them to be one of the most popular venues in which jewelry can effectively be sold.
